About the Broker
Roger Dartiguenave,jr is the founder or La Mulata Bienes Raices. When the earthquake hits Port-Au-Prince and its surroundings he is in Montreal for 3 weeks to finalize his moving back home, he had actually decided to return to his country after living 39 years abroad He was living in Haiti since November 2009 ,had made plans to renovate the family home and add 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Actually it was a business venture, he would have space to accommodate a maximum of 12 guests in private bedrooms and 2 suites. His experience has been in customer service and marketing. He has the energy and drive of an entrepreneur, but unfortunately the house he was going to use for a B & B, and later on for a private hotel, was seriously damaged.
The date of his return was January 12, 2010, the date of the disaster, he could have died that same day or be seriously injured,he was blessed as he pointed out not to be on that plane. Just like someone who is late to catch a plane and a few hours later hear the plane crashed and nobody survived. And then decided to take a Real Estate training at Quebec Real Estate training College, passed all the courses and was accredited by the Organization of Real Estate Agents and Brokers of Quebec. To practice in Quebec you need a membership with the Real Estate Chamber of Greater Montreal, he was fully accredited to practice in Montreal, then decided to pursue his career in Haïti and Dominican Republic.
He wants his firm, La Mulata Bienes Raices, to contribute to the Reconstruction of Haiti Solidarity Fund.
